The CeraMem® Membrane Technology Product Platform
HPD ceramic membranes are a proprietary technology utilizing the CeraMem® platform that combines innovative design features and unique materials of construction to provide membrane modules. This unique technology allows the utilization of large-diameter ceramic monolith membranes that reduce the overall footprint of installed equipment at life cycle costs comparable to polymeric membranes.
The CeraMem family of ceramic membranes by were developed mainly for microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) applications and is in development for other membranes, most notably pervaporation membranes. They feature a high resistance to chemical and abrasive attacks while operating at higher temperatures with minimal fouling. HPD's CeraMem technology provides a solution to the most challenging environments such as deoiling of oilfield produced water.
